Job summary

Vaultex UK Ltd in Kilmarnock is seeking a Cash Processing Operative to accurately process incoming and outgoing cash consignments in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines and procedures are followed.

You will operate high-speed cash sorting equipment, balance daily totals, and ensure all paperwork is complete. Heavy lifting and long periods of standing are required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting and long periods of standing required.
• Able to meet individual targets and deadlines.
• Good numeracy and numeric keyboard skills essential.
• Health and safety awareness within cash processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate high speed note sorting machines and related equipment.
• Compliance with cash processing procedures.
• Identify cash discrepancies and report to Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Process and prepare daily items to meet deadlines and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Wrap, strap, band and weigh cash by denomination and type.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and adhere to waste procedures.
