Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Coin Processor (Coin Store Operative) in the UK to support secure cash handling at the coin centre. You will process and supply coin, adhere to strict procedures, and ensure accurate loading and unloading for internal and external customers.

The role requires good English communication, numeracy, and the ability to work to deadlines. A license for powered machinery and experience with counting equipment are beneficial for progression.

Qualifications

• Confident in communicating with customers and colleagues in written and spoken English.
• An appropriate level of numeracy is important.
• Able to follow specific procedures and instructions.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Previous cash handling experience is beneficial.
• Licensed in the use of powered machinery or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Process and supply coin to fulfil customer requirements.
• Work within company procedures and maintain high service quality.
• Meet or exceed personal and team productivity targets.
• Carry out duties as required and undertake training.
• Operate in receipt and dispatch functions for internal/external customers.
• Maintain balance of coin stock and secure cages at end of shift.
• Use coin counting and sachet equipment with basic maintenance.
• Follow 5S standards and security procedures at all times.
