Job summary

SSP is seeking a Store Cash Office Team Member to reconcile cash, card payments and other tender types across our stores.

You will work with General Managers to ensure cash is processed safely, recorded accurately and monitored to minimise losses. The role requires 18+ on certain tasks and shifts; prior experience is desirable. Expect to use Excel and our IT systems daily and benefit from SSP’s training and discount programs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desired.
• Must be 18 years or over for certain tasks/shifts.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile cash, credit cards and other tender types received in our stores.
• Collaborate with General Managers to ensure safe, accurate cash processing and minimising losses on site.
• Demonstrate strong numerical and IT skills to operate basic company systems.

Job description

• You will be responsible for reconciling cash, credit cards and other tender types received in our stores.
• You'll work with our General Managers to ensure that cash is processed safely and securely, recorded and managed to ensure minimal unaccounted cash losses on site.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Cash Office Team Member role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

  Please note, previous experience in a similar role is desired.

• Attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Logical problem solving skills and be able to multitask and deal with interruptions to workload.

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and you will need to be comfortable with using and learning basic functions of our company IT systems.
