Cash & Bank Assistant

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Role Overview

With a keen eye for detail, as a Cash and Bank Assistant you will be responsible for the maintenance of all multi-currency bank accounts, recording and matching of all transactions on a daily basis and ensuring all discrepancies are fully investigated.

• Are you proficient in working with Microsoft Systems, more specifically Excel?
• Are you a strong communicator with the ability to influence both verbally and written?
• Do you pride yourself in having a good attention to detail?

• Are you able to prioritise workload?
• Are you innovative and like to challenge existing structures, with a view to improving existing ways of working?
• Although not required a background in Retail would be advantageous as well as experience of working with Retail point of service systems

What does a typical day sound like?

• You will complete bank postings for all multi-currency bank accounts
• You will be responsible for reconciling accounts, investigating and correcting differences
• You will reconcile credit card/online payment scheme receipts to monies received.
• You will process and reconcile transactions of a complex nature.
• You will liaise with other departments, retail stores and bank to ensure all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
• Ad hoc duties required to support the finance department as a whole.
