The successful candidate will handle high volumes, use Excel for data analysis, work with ERP systems, and liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies while supporting month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash allocation, cash posting, or accounts receivable.
• Able to handle high transaction volumes quickly and accurately.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Experience with multiple ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise daily workload against deadlines.
• Desirable: AAT study or interest in studying; shared service centre experience; multi-currency or multi-entity allocation.

Responsibilities

• Allocate daily customer receipts from multiple payment methods against open invoices.
• Match remittance advices to payments; resolve unallocated cash.
• Reconcile customer accounts and clear historic unallocated balances.
• Post receipts accurately within daily deadlines.
• Collaborate with Credit Control to resolve queries and deductions.
• Raise and process customer refunds and credit notes as approved.
• Support daily bank reconciliation and month-end close; aged debt reporting.
• Contact customers and internal teams to obtain missing remittance information.
• Identify process improvements to reduce unallocated cash and speed up allocation.
