Job Title: Caseworker (Contract, Inside IR35)

Location: Central London (hybrid)

Duration: Until 31 March 2027

About the role

We are seeking experienced Caseworkers to join its operational team on an initial contract running to 31 March 2027. You will assess and make decisions on cases in a sensitive, fast-paced environment, applying government policy and procedure accurately and consistently.

The role starts with an onsite induction, followed by hybrid working with 1-3 days per week onsite as business needs require.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex information from multiple sources with a keen eye for detail
• Apply government policy to reach well-reasoned decisions, and clearly justify and record them
• Work to strict policies and procedures while meeting tight deadlines
• Manage casework accurately and confidentially, in line with data protection requirements
• Engage with stakeholders and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Solve problems and escape complex cases where appropriate

Essential requirements

• Proven previous casework experience
• Experience analysing complex information and making policy-based decisions
• Experience working to strict policies and procedures under tight deadlines
• Excellent written English and communication skills
• Stakeholder management experience
• Good knowledge of data protection
• Competent in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
• Empathy and resilience. The role involves exposure to graphic or distressing material and accounts, which will be discussed openly at interview
