Job summary

Hampshire County Council's Learning Disabilities Team invites applications for a Case Worker role. This is an excellent introduction to Social Work, where you'll support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism to maximise independence and wellbeing.

The role welcomes candidates with or without prior social work experience; you will receive training from qualified social workers and healthcare professionals, with ongoing mentoring and development.

Job description

Joining our Learning Disabilities Team as a Case Worker is an excellent introduction into Social Work. You'll be an integral part of our team providing individuals with a diagnosed learning disability and/or autism with support and guidance to maximise their independence and wellbeing.

It's not essential that you have previous experience in social work. What's important is that you can work compassionately with individuals as we'll provide you with support and training from experienced colleagues, qualified social workers and health care professionals.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing support and guidance to individuals to maximise their wellbeing and independence.
