Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Carpentry Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor for an immediately available contract at a renowned FE College in Salisbury. This is a part-time, three days a week, on-site role with a rolling three-month contract.

You will deliver carpentry teaching and practical training, assess apprentices toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and mentor learners to achieve their qualifications. DBS check is required; salary £40-£50 per hour inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices.
• Ability to deliver both theory and practical carpentry training.
• DBS check (Enhanced) obtainable.
• Experience in further education or apprenticeships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in Carpentry.
• Assess apprentices toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards.
• Coach, mentor and provide feedback to learners.
• Support learners to achieve their qualifications.
