Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment seeks an experienced Carpentry Lecturer/Trainer for an immediate contract at a renowned FE College in Salisbury. You will teach carpentry, assess apprentices toward NVQ standards, and mentor learners to reach their potential.

You’ll have Level 2/3 Carpentry, industry experience; teaching qualification is desirable. Enhanced DBS is required; 3 months rolling contract, part-time 3 days/week, £40-£50/hr inside IR35.

Carpentry Lecturer / Trainer

£40 - £50 per hour inside IR35

Part-time 3 Days a Week

On Site Salisbury - commutable from Andover, Frome, Swindon, Bournemouth and surrounding areas

3 months Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced Carpentry Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced Carpentry professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You’ll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training / Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:

The Person:

• Level 2/Level 3 Carpentry
• Current or previous industry experience working in Carpentry industries

• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
