Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to deliver engaging sessions in a reputable FE college in Northampton.

This full-time, on-site contract runs 37.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £40‑£50, and continues until October half term, supporting learners through their qualifications. You will plan lessons, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Carpentry & Joinery (or closely related trade background).
• Teaching/lecturing experience (FE experience desirable).
• Strong communication skills and able to support learners effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching and learning across Carpentry & Joinery.
• Support learners working towards their qualifications.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and constructive feedback to students.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on-site in Northampton, contract until October half term.
