Job summary

Education Training Collective requires an Apprenticeship Trainer in Carpentry and Joinery for Stockton Riverside College in Stockton-on-Tees. The role focuses on supporting apprentices to Level 3, using coaching skills to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours, with regular reviews alongside Employers.

The ideal candidate must have strong carpentry and joinery industry experience and hold a Level 3 qualification, with excellent communication and planning abilities to manage time and priorities

Qualifications

• Significant industry experience in carpentry and joinery and qualified to Level 3.
• Experience in training or developing others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and mentor learners.

Responsibilities

• Support Apprentices up to Level 3 throughout their training.
• Guide and support learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Plan effective reviews with Apprentices and Employers and provide timely feedback.
• Communicate targets clearly to drive achievement and coordinate with the apprenticeship team.
