Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd is seeking a Full-Time Carpentry Lecturer for an established FE college in Oxfordshire. The role involves teaching apprentices on Mondays and Tuesdays, and school leavers/further-education students on the remaining days, across Level 2 and Level 3 Carpentry courses.

Salary ranges from £35k to £45k depending on experience and qualifications; a strong industry background and a willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS are important.

Qualifications

• Solid trade experience in carpentry, site and bench.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Mondays and Tuesdays: teaching apprentices.
• Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: teaching school leavers/further-education students.
• Deliver Level 2 Bench Carpentry, Level 2 Site Carpentry and Level 3 Site Carpentry courses.
