Job summary

Mountjoy recherche un plombier/menuisier enthousiaste pour rejoindre son équipe dynamique à Portsmouth. Qualifications

ROLE SUMMARY

Undertake responsive and routine repairs and void repairs to Portsmouth City Council’s (PCC) Housing and Corporate Assets stock, supporting other maintenance contracts as needed. Work across PCC’s property portfolio including social housing, schools, public conveniences, offices, heritage sites, and museums.

Utilize your skills, knowledge, and training to perform high-quality workmanship, ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures. Maintain a professional attitude and high standards of customer service when interacting with clients, colleagues, and the public.

KEY ACTIVITIES
  • Perform a variety of carpentry and plumbing repairs in occupied and vacant properties, including fitting doors, first and second fixings, kitchen installations, minor leak repairs, sanitary ware replacement, wall and floor tiling, and asbestos removal (training provided).
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • NVQ Level 2-3 in carpentry or plumbing, or equivalent
  • Trade experience may be considered
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 2-5 years in social housing or building maintenance environment
DRIVING LICENCE

A full, clean driving licence is required to operate company vans.
