Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking an experienced Carpenter multi-skilled operative to cover the SW postcode area. The role is temp to perm, with a van and fuel card provided, at 27.12 per hour via umbrella or CIS, and Mon–Fri 8am–5pm.

Ideal candidates will hold NVQ2 or equivalent, have long‑term trade experience, and can undertake a range of trades within social housing or local authority settings. You will perform general maintenance and new installations on occupied and vacant properties,

• NVQ2 qualification or equivalent and long term relevant trade experience.

We are recruiting for an experienced Carpenter multi-skilled operative who will ideally have experience of working within a social housing or local authority environment.

This role is to cover the SW postcode area

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have the ability to undertake associated trade tasks within competency, NVQ2 qualification or equivalent and long term relevant trade experience.

You will be required to carry out the full range of general maintenance and new installation work to occupied and vacant properties whilst ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times.

You'll be given protective clothing, a van to get you there as well as the specialist power tools you'll need. We also offer:
