Job description

As our Carpenter Multi Trader, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry tasks, alongside other general maintenance and repair duties, in response to urgent and planned requests. Your day-to-day will be varied and will require you to effectively diagnose issues and deliver timely and efficient solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking all aspects of carpentry work, including (but not limited to):
  • Door repairs and replacements (including ironmongery)
  • Window repairs and replacements
  • Kitchen and bathroom fitting and repairs
  • Flooring repairs and installations
  • General joinery and maintenance
• Carrying out other multi-trade tasks as required, such as basic plumbing, plaster patching, painting and decorating.
• Accurately diagnosing faults and determining the most appropriate repair solutions.
• Working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and service level agreements.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and colleagues.
• Accurately completing job reports and documentation.
• Maintaining and caring for company tools and equipment.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with demonstrable multi-trade abilities.
• Experience in a reactive maintenance environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
