Town & Country Housing is seeking a skilled Carpenter Multi to join our responsive repairs and maintenance team across Social Housing properties. You will carry out a wide range of reactive repairs, work at height, and take ownership of jobs from start to finish.
A NVQ in Carpentry is required, and a full UK driving licence is essential. Experience in social housing is desirable. We offer a company van, fuel card, generous leave, pension, life insurance, and extensive staff benefits.

As a Carpenter Multi, you'll carry out a wide range of reactive repairs and maintenance tasks across occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll take ownership of jobs from start to finish, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible while working within agreed timescales and budgets. You'll work closely with colleagues and supervisors, identify when additional trades are required, accurately record job information using electronic systems, and maintain excellent relationships with residents and clients.
You’ll hold an NVQ or recognised qualification in Carpentry and a full UK driving licence. Experience working within Social Housing is desirable, along with a strong understanding of health and safety practices. We're looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual with excellent practical skills, a high degree of manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You'll also be comfortable working at height, on uneven ground, and within confined spaces when required.

Salary of £40,660

This is a full time permanent position, working on site 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
