Overview

Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out planned repairs to void properties, you\'ll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work.

You\'ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safety in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safety in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.
  • Carry out planned repairs and maintenance work in void properties as part of a responsive and planned works programme.
  • Operate appropriate tools and equipment safely; ensure quality workmanship and first-time fixes where possible.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with customers to understand needs and deliver quality service.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or equivalent and excellent knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Customer focused with experience of working in void properties; hold or be working towards holding a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card; passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.
  • Punctual, reliable and comfortable operating small handheld plant such as drills and breakers.
  • Advantageous to have social housing experience and kitchen fitting experience.
  • Must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
  • MSPS may be able to support obtaining the required qualification if you have relevant experience but do not yet hold the qualification.
