Job Title: Carpenter

Salary up to £36,000 per annum, plus company van & fuel card

Working hours: 42.5 hours per week (8am-5pm, Monday to Friday)

Company Overview:

Pyramid Plus South, a joint venture between A2Dominion and Mears Property Services, specializes in repairs, maintenance, compliance, planned replacements, and fire risk assessments. We handle over 35,000 repairs, 2,200 electrical tests, 1,000 voids, and fit 600 kitchens and bathrooms annually across 23,500 homes. We are expanding with numerous upcoming projects, offering exciting growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out reactive carpentry repairs in occupied properties.
2. Undertaking 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks.
3. Hanging doors, installing skirting, architraves, fixing windows/doors, lock changes, repairing worktops, kitchen units, etc.
4. Providing high levels of customer care at all times.

Role Criteria:

• Experience in carpentry.
• Experience working in social housing.
• Valid full UK driving license.

Additional Requirements:

All roles require candidates to have the right to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for more than 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.

All roles are subject to DBS/Security checks prior to employment.
