Job summary

Kenneth Payne Consulting is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter for work primarily in education and occupied social housing across the Midlands. You will handle installation, maintenance and remedial fire door works, including frames, seals, hinges, closers and ironmongery, following specifications and manufacturer instructions.

The ideal candidate has a strong carpentry background, a full UK driving licence, and is mindful of safeguarding/ DBS requirements.

Basic too £40k Basic + Overtime

This is a rapidly expanding National Environmental Services company which is currently seeking experienced Carpenters to join their Passive Fire Division.

We are seeking experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join this team, working mainly in education and occupied social housing. The role covers fire door installation, maintenance and remedial works, including frames, seals, hinges, closers and ironmongery, completed to the relevant specifications and manufacturer's instructions.

The successful candidate will have a strong carpentry background, proven fire door experience, a full UK driving licence and a professional, considerate approach around residents, pupils and staff. You will need to work independently, handle record work and photographs digitally, and meet relevant safeguarding and DBS requirements. Fire door qualifications and experience working under BM TRADA procedures would be advantageous.

Home based you will have a track record of success within your field we offer a basic salary up to £40k plus overtime company vehicle and a broad range of benefits.
