Job summary

Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fire door carpenters to join our client's passive fire teams, focussing on remedials or installations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day upgrades and general maintenance.

You will carry out remedials on fire doors in tenanted properties and communal areas, with a focus on high-quality workmanship, H&S compliance, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in a relevant trade is required.
• Experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs is preferred.
• Awareness of fire regulations within carpentry and fire doors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out remedials on fire doors in domestic tenanted and void properties, and communal areas in tower blocks.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties.
• Complete remedial works in line with H&S policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain excellent customer service during visits.

Rate:price work, £150 per door installed, uncapped earnings

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of remedials on firedoors in domestic tenanted and void properties, and also communal areas in tower blocks across the City.

• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties

• Complete necessary remedial works in line with company H&S Policies and ensuring they are compliant to regulations.

• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits.

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in any relevant trade

• Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Awareness of fire regulation within carpentry & fire doors
