Carpenter / Fabric Engineer - Historical Site – Charing Cross - £38,000 per annum + Package

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based a short walk from Charing Cross or Holborn Station. CBW are currently recruiting for a Carpenter / Fabric Engineer to be based at a large static site. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified carpenter with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out fabric maintenance with an emphasis on carpentry across this large static site. Working with the maintenance team on-site, he or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Hours of work & Package

• Basic Salary of up to £38,000
• Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm - 40 hour week
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Painting & Decorating
• Basic lighting
• Carpentry and plumbing

• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
