Job summary

Tech-People is seeking a skilled 2nd Fix Carpenter for a large-scale fire door repair project at Trafalgar Square, London. The role involves repairing and remediating existing fire doors (no installation work) with a focus on quality and safety. Immediate start and PAYE pay model.

Applicants should have several years of carpentry experience, a Blue CSCS Card, own tools and PPE, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a reliable, professional approach. The contract runs for 3–6 months.

Job Title: Carpenter - Fire Door Repairs

Location: Trafalgar Square, London

Hours: 07:00am - 16:00pm

Pay: £23.07 per hour PAYE

Holiday Pay & Pension Contribution: Included

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3-6 months

Role & Responsibilities

• We are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to work on a large-scale fire door repair project in Trafalgar Square.
• Repair and remediate existing fire doors - no installation work required
• Approximately 1,110 fire doors requiring repairs
• Carry out work to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
• Work efficiently while maintaining health, safety and quality standards
• Previous experience with fire door repairs is highly desirable
