Job summary

Randstad Construction Property Engineering is hiring Carpenters for commercial sites in Reading. We offer a range of long-term and short-term opportunities to fit your availability and start dates.

Candidates will work on First Fix and Second Fix tasks, including erecting the structural skeleton and installing doors, frames, and finishing elements. Site work involves measuring and fitting timber per plans, with collaboration across trades.

Qualifications

• Experience with First Fix carpentry: erecting structural skeletons including floor joists, walls, roofs and stairs.
• Experience with Second Fix: fitting doors, door frames, skirting boards and window frames after plastering.
• Site work: measuring, cutting, shaping and fitting timber based on architectural plans.
