Job description

Carpentry runs through most of our bigger jobs. Kitchens, doors and frames, skirting and architrave, stud work, flooring and the hundred small fixings that decide whether a refurbishment looks finished.

There is repair work too. A door that has dropped, a frame that has rotted, a worktop that needs replacing.

What the work is

• First and second fix carpentry on refurbishment and kitchen jobs.
• Door, frame and ironmongery repairs and replacements in occupied homes.
• Work to the measurements on site rather than the ones on the drawing.
• Photograph and report the work as you go.
