Qualifications

  • Must have some kitchen experience and a real passion for helping others.
  • Willingness to work towards NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation.
  • Strong organisational skills and keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation under the direction of the Chef or Cook.
  • Serve meals with warmth and respect in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and equipment.
  • Monitor and record food storage temperatures.
  • Support stock rotation and store ingredients appropriately.
  • Teach new team members about kitchen safety and equipment usage.
  • Keep the kitchen spotless, even after busy meals.
