Job summary

Fairlie Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at our care home. You will assist with breakfast, lunch and supper, prepare sandwiches and meals that are nutritious and well presented, and support the Chef while upholding high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Full Right to Work in the UK; we cannot offer sponsorship.
Previous Kitchen Assistant experience is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
Good organisation and time management.
Flexible and positive attitude.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing breakfast, lunch and supper.
Prepare sandwiches, soups and evening meals that are nutritious and well presented.
Support the Chef with meal preparation and cooking; help plan menus and ideas.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
Ensure dietary, nutritional and cultural requirements are met.
Deliver an excellent dining experience for residents.
