Job summary

Bupa seeks a Kitchen Assistant on a Bank contract at Trowbridge Oaks Care Home, West Ashton Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire. You will help the kitchen team plate meals, prepare trolleys and keep preparation areas tidy, delivering a high-quality dining experience for residents.

The role requires a genuine passion for food, kitchen experience, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You will work with care home teams to ensure residents enjoy meals and participate in events while following hygiene

• Strong communication with residents and teams.
• Commitment to high standards in dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and keep prep areas clean and tidy.
• Monitoring stock rotation and following COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist with catering for events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
