Job summary

PrimeLife Ltd is recruiting for a Cook at Middlefield House, Gainsborough. The role offers a 21-hour week within a temporary contract, designed to support residents living with complex needs.

You will join a caring team, deliver meals and snacks to dietary requirements, and help maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment in a residential setting. The ideal candidate is an experienced Cook, ideally with a Food Hygiene or Catering qualification, though Prime Life can provide training.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to help residents.
• Experienced cook with food preparation knowledge.
• Food Hygiene or Catering qualification preferred but training available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements.
• Carry out quality checks on food and storage.
• Plan menus to meet residents' preferences and needs.
• Assist with food service to provide a dignified dining experience.
• Maintain stock records and order supplies in line with policy.
• Keep a hygienic kitchen and assist with deep cleaning tasks.
