Job summary

Sanctuary Care in Brandon, Durham is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the friendly team at Rushyfields. You will support the catering team with basic food preparation and meal service, helping deliver meals to residents with care and attention to quality.

We value a caring, enthusiastic approach to older people, strong teamwork, and a commitment to food hygiene. A food hygiene certificate is preferred or you’re willing to work towards one; full training and development are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering is preferred.
• Willingness to work towards a food hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support the catering team with basic food preparation and meal service.
• Present and serve meals to a high standard for residents.
• Follow food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
