Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it has developed its own collections based on workwear originals.

Carhartt WIP aims to progress and evolve while staying true to its origins. Over the past two decades, our business has grown organically, along with its customers, the culture surrounding the brand, and its employees, who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.

Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Marketing Coordinator, the Marketing Assistant will support the department in achieving marketing goals. The role involves administrative responsibilities and providing consistent support across all marketing areas in the UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the marketing team in executing all marketing activities, including but not limited to:
  2. Aligning with the Carhartt WIP global marketing plan for the UK & Ireland market
  3. Assisting with research, development, and production of B2B & B2C marketing materials
  4. Managing showroom samples for shoots, including booking in/out and courier shipments
  5. Organising and managing model castings and fittings
  6. Supporting social media efforts for the UK and Ireland
  7. Providing support for retail and wholesale event production, such as special releases, anniversary events, in-store music, club nights, and artist gifting
  8. Assisting wholesale customers with marketing activities like in-store events, product launches, anniversary projects, POS installations, etc.
  9. Researching and coordinating external advertising opportunities, including print and digital, such as billboards
  10. Proficiently using Keynote for generating monthly reports, social media analytics, press notes, and proposals
  11. Conducting site visits to retail stores, wholesale partners, venues, and collaborators across the UK
  12. Seeding and gifting to key opinion leaders, musicians, artists, and creatives within the WIP community

Your Profile:

This is an entry-level marketing role, ideal for a marketing graduate or current student.

Essential skills include a basic understanding of marketing principles, excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, creativity, teamwork, planning, commercial awareness, numerical skills, and IT proficiency.

Strong knowledge of MS Office, Keynote, project planning, and scheduling is required, along with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Experience with online applications, social media platforms, and related tools is preferred.

High levels of self-organisation, communication, multitasking, and the ability to work independently are essential.

A keen interest and in-depth knowledge of fashion, trends, music, skate culture, art, and subcultures are desirable.
