Reed is seeking a dedicated Caretaker in Wymondham, Norfolk for a part-time position within our Estates Team. The role focuses on maintenance, safety compliance, and event setup, with responsibilities spanning plumbing, electrical tasks, security, and general upkeep.

Candidates should have a good literacy/numeracy level, a valid driving licence, and prior caretaking or maintenance experience. Benefits include a pro-rata salary, holiday entitlement, and a defined benefit pension scheme.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Carry out building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and new work as needed.
• Manage basic plumbing tasks, electrical consumables replacements, and attend to faults, repairs, and breakdowns.
• Ensure the security of buildings by locking/unlocking facilities and managing anti-intruder alarms.
• Set up for college events and prepare rooms or marquees as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the estate, including cleaning gullies, gutters, and drains, and managing refuse removal.
• Drive college vehicles as required for various tasks and maintain them.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and report any breaches.

Caretaker

• Annual Salary: £25,614 per annum, Pro Rata £14,235 per annum
• Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
• Job Type: Part-time
• Thurs 8am until 4.30pm, Friday 2pm until 10pm
• 24 Sundays in term time - 8pm-8pm 1 hour break

This role requires someone who can work independently, is punctual, and reliable.
