Job summary

Thomas Mills High School and Sixth Form in Framlingham, Woodbridge, Suffolk, is seeking a Caretaker/Handyperson/Cleaner to join the Site Team. The role requires a flexible, reliable person who can work in a team and also on their own, with full training provided. Enthusiasm for light maintenance and DIY is desirable.

Salary £25,185 per annum, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum. Closing date 3 October 2026, 9 am. Permanent position with immediate consideration for suitable candidate(s).

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Team to maintain buildings and grounds.
• Carry out light maintenance and basic DIY tasks as required.
• Assist with general caretaking duties to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Work flexibly and partake in site improvement tasks as needed.

You may have skills and/or experience useful for light maintenance/advanced DIY for example. Equally having a positive attitude and willingness to do what needs doing is desirable.
