We're currently recruiting a dedicated Caretaker to help ensure the smooth running of operations at Compass Group UK&I on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Carry out opening and locking procedures for the building
2. Perform day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
3. Assist in planned preventative maintenance programs
4. Ensure heating, lighting, and alarm systems are functioning correctly
5. Observe and report issues
6. Assist with movement of furniture, etc.
7. Perform other reasonable tasks as required

Our ideal Caretaker will have:

• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Some knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Preferred experience in building maintenance
• Preferred understanding of boiler plant operation
• Experience in caretaking, cleaning, and security
• Ability to assist in the preparation of planned maintenance programs
