Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy is seeking a motivated Caretaker / Site Supervisor to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for pupils and staff. Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, proactive and conscientious Caretaker / Site Supervisor to play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, compliant and welcoming learning environment for our pupils, staff and wider community.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines traditional caretaking duties with responsibility for supporting statutory compliance, site security, health and safety, contractor management, planned maintenance, sustainability initiatives and the day-to-day operational management of the school site.
The successful candidate will be an important part of the academy team, helping to ensure our buildings and grounds remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and fit for purpose.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and bind-overs as well as pending prosecutions, which are not "protected" under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. We will use the DBS check to ensure we comply with the Children Disqualification Regulations.
