Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week), all year-round, flexible working hours between the hours of 6am to 7pm and occasional weekends (agreed in advance), to start as soon as possible .

VTG7, SP19-21, £22,266 – £23,919 per annum (starting salary dependant on experience) + Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package).

Venturers Trust is a dynamic and focused multi-academy trust based in Bristol, formed in September 2017 through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust. Merchants’ Academy are seeking to appoint a practical, positive and energetic Caretaker. The role involves assisting in ensuring that the environment (inside and out) is safe, well maintained and meets Health and Safety requirements. Duties will include security, general maintenance, cleaning of designated areas and ensuring the safety, good order and tidiness of the school site.

The successful candidate will have:

• Basic literacy and IT skills
• Full driving licence
• Friendly and helpful manner
• Practical and good DIY skills

Experience of working within a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
