M&D Care Limited is seeking a proactive Caretaker for a 3-month temporary assignment at our residential service in Hirwaun, Aberdare. The role supports vulnerable adults and ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities include daily maintenance, safety checks, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining security and comfort for residents and staff alike. Driving and health & safety skills are essential.

Employment Type: Full-time 37.5 hours per week - Temporary 3-month position
Base Salary: £12.91 per hour
Essentials: The ability to drive is essential for this post. Basic maintenance and repair skills (e.g., plumbing, painting, joinery). A strong awareness of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH, fire safety) will be needed for this role. Effective communication and time management skills and a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Maintenance or equivalent is desirable and a full clean licence.
