Job summary

The Dixon Community is seeking an Adult Carers Support Worker to join the South Carers Centre in Glasgow. The role focuses on supporting unpaid carers, coordinating information and services, and promoting carers’ health and wellbeing.

The post requires strong communication, planning and administrative skills, plus a relevant health or social care qualification or equivalent experience. 35 hours per week, on site. Closing date 6 November 2026.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in health or social care or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Experience with information and advice services and planning services for carers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support to unpaid carers to help them manage caring responsibilities and maintain wellbeing.
• Plan and deliver a range of services to support carers and their health.
• Maintain administration and case notes to support service delivery.
