Job summary

North Argyll Carers Centre is seeking an Adult Carer Support Worker for Mull and Iona Outreach. The role focuses on helping adult carers access information, services and practical support across Oban, Lorn and Isles.

The successful candidate will travel to Mull roughly two days a month to run the Tobermory group and provide face-to-face support to island carers, alongside delivering events and activities for carers on both the mainland and Mull to foster community and connection.

Qualifications

• Supports adult carers with information, services and practical tips.
• Experience with community outreach is desirable.
• Able to work independently and travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Support adult carers across the Oban, Lorn and Isles area with information, services and practical support.
• Spend roughly two days each month on Mull to deliver the Tobermory monthly group and provide face-to-face support to island carers.
• Assist with a range of activities and events for carers on the mainland and Mull to encourage connection.
