Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust invites applications for a Care Assistant at Beckside Care Home. We provide residential, nursing and respite care to residents in a quiet, homely setting.

You will support daily routines and personal care, building trust and ensuring comfort while fostering a warm, dignified atmosphere for each resident. We welcome experienced carers and those new to care, offering induction, ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and empathy with residents.
• Able to work as part of a team and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, toilet use).
• Assist residents to lead a happy, fulfilled life and participate in activities.
• Follow care plans and maintain dignity and privacy.

Care Assistant

Pay rate: £13.62

Situated in a quiet residential area overlooking North Hykeham’s beautiful village green is Beckside Care Home, offering first class and compassionate residential, nursing and respite care to 57 residents in homely and comfortable surroundings. The nursing unit provides tranquility through beautiful views which often enhances spiritual wellbeing.

We are looking for you to work as a care assistant making a real difference to our residents lives every day. Along with supporting daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, supporting toilet use) we are looking for the right people to genuinely care for our residents and create a happy fulfilled life for them. Some days may be challenging but you will laugh, have fun and make lasting memories. You’ll become part of our extended family too, bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our care homes.

We are looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care to build our teams with diverse people who can bring all sorts of life experience to the job. We provide induction training and support, with ongoing development opportunities for you to really build a career with us. You will be a great communicator and able to build relationships and positive working and living environments. We’d love you to love your job.
