Job summary

The Heights care home in Downley, High Wycombe, operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust, is hiring a Care Assistant. You will support residents with daily routines and personal care, creating a home-from-home environment and ensuring dignity and respect in every interaction.

We value compassionate individuals who can work in a team, handle varying shifts, and participate in induction training and ongoing development to build a rewarding caring career in our not-for-profit organization.

Care Assistant Location: Downley, High Wycombe Pay rate: £13.45 per hour Contracted Hours: Full and Part Time available including alternative weekends We offer various shifts and hours so get in touch and we can help you find the job you want! The Heights care home was designed and built to enable the effective delivery of specialist nursing care, with a practical nursing unit on each wing. The home provides a bright, safe and modern living environment, with 75 individual rooms. Not only are there many on-site facilities, there is also plenty of communal and outdoor space, so everyone can get involved in the varied and stimulating selection of activities available in our High Wycombe Care Home. We encourage our residents to bring personal items from home to give that home-from-home feel. We are looking for you to work as a care assistant making a real difference to our residents

lives every day. Along with supporting daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, supporting toilet use) we are looking for the right people to genuinely care for our residents and create a happy fulfilled life for them. Some days may be challenging but you will laugh, have fun and make lasting memories. You’ll become part of our extended family too, bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our care homes. We are looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care to build our teams with diverse people who can bring all sorts of life experience to the job. We provide induction training and support, with ongoing development opportunities for you to really build a career with us.
