Job summary

The Lakes Care Centre in South Cerney, Gloucestershire is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with daily routines and personal care. The role includes day-to-day activities, social engagement, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment within a 64-bed care home rated highly for quality.

Training and development opportunities are offered, with a supportive team culture. Shifts run 8:00am-8:00pm Monday to Friday with alternate weekends.

Care Assistant

Location: The Lakes Care Centre, South Cerney, Gloucestershire

Pay Rate: £13.78 Per Hour (NVQ & Weekend Enhancements Available)

Contracted Hours: 36/48 Hours per week available

Shift Pattern: 8:00am-8:00pm Monday-Friday (Working Alternate Weekends)

The Lakes is a 64 bed Care Home situated in South Cerney, Cirencester. The home offers Day, Respite, Residential and Dementia care in a comfortable, homely setting. We’re rated 9.8 Carehome.co.uk and Good by the Care Quality Commission.

We are looking for you to work as a care assistant making a real difference to our residents lives every day. Along with supporting daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, supporting toilet use) we are looking for the right people to genuinely care for our residents and create a happy fulfilled life for them. Some days may be challenging but you will laugh, have fun and make lasting memories. You’ll become part of our extended family too, bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our care homes.

We are looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care to build our teams with diverse people who can bring all sorts of life experience to the job. We provide induction training and support, with ongoing development opportunities for you to really build a career with us.
