Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care. You will build relationships with seniors who wish to age in place, delivering empathy, excellence and integrity with every shift.

Responsibilities include companionship, daily living support, transportation, and standby transfer assistance. A driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are preferred, with opportunities for advancement and a fast-track hiring process.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required; CNA/HHA or 6+ months caregiving preferred
• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's care a plus
• Must have daily access to email/internet and mobile phone
• Must pass a criminal background check (national and state)
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel up to 15 miles for shifts
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Excellent communication skills; mature, punctual and reliable

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
