Job title:Careers Skills and Development Coach – Electrical

Location:Barrow – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £41,997- £44,796 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire learners to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully progress within the business
• Take professional pride in their role and embrace continuous professional development opportunities in support of delivering innovative and impactful teaching, learning and assessment.
• Assess and monitor learner progress & performance in line with standards and legislative requirements to ensure occupational competence
• Coach learners to reach their full potential by providing key support, mentoring and motivation throughout all aspects of their learning journey
• Develop learners that are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers, through designing and delivering learning content as part of a blended learning pedagogy focused on delivering vocational excellence

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Effective coaching and mentoring skills / experience with an electrical background
• Fully qualified electrician
• Effective interpersonal skills specifically when dealing with welfare, support and safeguarding issues
• Organisational and time management skills

Desirable:

• A1/Assessor qualification
• Submarines Experience
