Kings Heath Secondary School is looking for a Careers Advisor to support students with their future education and career choices. Job description

Kings Heath Secondary School is a maintained school for 11-16 year olds. We have places for 795 pupils increasing to 840 pupils. From September 2024, the school changed designation from a single sex school to a coeducational school

Are you interested in working with young people? Do you have the skills to communicate with students? We are seeking to recruit a Careers Advisor to support our students in making well informed and aspirational decisions about their future education and career pathways. You will develop close links with Post 16 providers and arrange careers events, assemblies and bespoke support for individual students.

This role is integral to the future success of our students and the successful candidate will be committed to making a difference and improving the life chances of our students. You will have, or a willingness to work towards, a level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance and Development, knowledge of Gatsby benchmarks, excellent administration skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge young people.
