Job summary

Cheshire College South and West is seeking a Careers Adviser & Coach for the Macclesfield Campus to deliver CEIAG to prospective and current learners. You will work across schools, college and community settings to provide high-quality information, guidance and support on courses and career options.

The role focuses on helping learners make informed decisions about their future education and employment, with emphasis on employability skills and progression planning.

Qualifications

• Delivery of careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) to potential students, current students, apprentices and adults.
• Knowledge of career development frameworks and local education options is desirable.
• Experience with engaging young people in educational settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CEIAG via face-to-face and group sessions, email, phone or events.
• Support learners with career planning and progression decisions.
• Provide information on courses, training and employment opportunities.
• Collaborate with schools, colleges and community events to promote CEIAG services.
