Job description
Careers & Progression Officer

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Term time only (39 weeks a year)

Salary: Support Staff Scale 28 - £29,273 (Actual Salary £25,163)

This is a permanent contract.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Careers & Progression Officer to join our Careers team permanently, with excellent communication skills and an in depth knowledge of independent careers advice and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Level 4 qualification in careers guidance. With specific responsibility for guiding students in their education, training and work choices, the successful candidate will have a strong influence on their future progression.

A good knowledge of Universities, subject courses, UCAS, non-academic career choices, gap years, volunteering and work experience is essential for this role along with the ability to build a rapport with young people.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
