Job description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.

Job Title:Careers Advisor / IAG

Location:Centre based

Salary:£25,200 – £27,600 (Depending on skills and experience)

Type:Full Time, permanent

The Role:

• Work closely with a caseload of individuals on a 1:1 basis, to provide tailored Careers, Information and Advice Guidance.
• Deliver group-based employability training sessions on: CV writing, interview skills and job applications.
• Work in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure your clients gain access to suitable education, work experience and training opportunities.
• Recruit, manage and mentor a team of Peer Advisers, to ensure they are providing high-quality support and guidance.
• Completing all necessary paperwork in line with compliance and quality standards.

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a Level 4 IAG qualification, or above.
• Must have experience in providing careers guidance.
• IT literate.
• Ideally hold experience in providing careers advice to adults.
• Must demonstrate an engaging personality, with ability to motivate and encourage individuals who are returning to work and learning.
