Job summary

Bond Moran Recruitment Ltd in West London is hiring an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team and work closely with the FD. You will gain exposure to month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications

• Must be AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA.
• Previous finance experience in accounting or finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with SAGE.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Process and review journals, accruals and prepayments
• Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare VAT returns and statutory reporting
• Help improve financial processes and internal controls
• Provide finance support to operational departments
