Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges is seeking a motivated Career Leap System Administrator to join the Business Development Unit and drive the Career Leap programme across the region. You will support users, manage communications, coordinate activities and events, and ensure excellent outcomes for stakeholders.

The role is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 August 2029, based at Neath College, with 37 hours per week. Competitive salary scale and extensive employee benefits accompany the post.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in relevant discipline.
  • Experience in an administrative or system support role.
  • English and Maths Level 2 qualifications (GCSE or equivalent).
  • IT literate equivalent to level 3.
  • Experience supporting digital platforms or onboarding processes would be advantageous.

Are you passionate about creating opportunities for people, building strong partnerships, and making a real impact on skills, careers and progression? We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Career Leap System Administrator to join our Business Development Unit in this exciting new role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help drive the success of the Career Leap programme, connecting employers, learners and education providers to create meaningful progression opportunities across the region. As the central lead system administrator for the Career Leap platform, you will play a pivotal role in supporting users, managing communications, coordinating activities and events, and ensuring the programme delivers excellent outcomes for stakeholders.

Scale 3, Points 17 - 20, £26,462 - £28,496 per annum

37 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends).

Contract:

Full time, fixed term until 31 August 2029.

About you:

Our ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in relevant discipline and have relevant experience in an administrative or system support role. You should also hold level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 3. Experience supporting digital platforms or onboarding processes would be advantageous.
