The University of Brighton is seeking a Career Development Adviser on a 12-month fixed-term contract for 22.0 hours per week, based at Brighton City Campus. Join our Careers and Employability team and play a pivotal role in helping students, graduates and researchers realise their potential, make confident career decisions and develop the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world of work.
Working collaboratively across the University, you will develop strong partnerships with academic colleagues and take a lead role in supporting courses within the College of Creativity, Technology and Society. By embedding employability and career development within the curriculum and wider student experience, you will help ensure that every student has access to the knowledge, networks and opportunities needed to succeed.
This role is central to the University's Distinctively Brighton 2035 strategy, championing employability, enterprise and career planning as key elements of the student journey. Through your work, you will make a tangible difference to students' aspirations, outcomes and future success.

About You
This role is offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months, and is 22.0 hours per week, however we welcome applications form candidates seeking to job share. Whilst the nature of the role means a high percentage of the role will need to be carried out on campus, there is some option for home working, which can be arranged with your manager needs of the role.
